Finding women’s-specific mountain bike clothing has long been a challenge, with many options offering either technical performance or style, but rarely both. Too often designs have been adapted from men’s fits, leading to compromised comfort, limited mobility, and inconsistent sizing.

To improve range of motion, NVR Lost shorts feature an unique split on the knee area. However, this may divide some riders as it does have an unique aesthetic.

What is Lyocell?
Lyocell is basically wood pulp that went to finishing school. This eco-friendly, semi-synthetic fiber feels soft, breathes like a champ, and wicks moisture so you don’t turn into a sweaty mess. Made with a “closed-loop” process that recycles its own non-toxic solvents, it’s kind to the planet—and fully biodegradable—so your clothes can go out gracefully when their time comes.

The NVR Lost shorts and pants share the same features such as cut out vents on the inner thigh, hook and loop waist adjustment, wide waist band, plenty of deep pockets and lift pass pocket and the same stretch, breathable fabrics.

The NVR Lost Technical pants do have a very handy feature that we really appreciate, a zipper on the lower leg. This allows you to slip the pants over your shoes and knee pads with total ease. It also makes getting out them a breeze.
On The Trails
Across tees, shorts, and pants, NVR Lost’s range consistently delivers where it matters most: comfort, fit, and real trail performance. The tees stay breathable and comfortable across changing conditions, the shorts offer freedom of movement and smart storage on warmer rides, and the pants provide protection, stretch, and ventilation without feeling restrictive.

The mesh fabrics on the tees and the inner-thigh air vents on the shorts and pants get a big thumbs-up from us — absolute legends for staying cool and comfy during those stinking hot-weather rides.
The mesh fabrics and stretch panels all combine to make a range of apparel that is very much suited to the Australian climate. Simple, and understated in looks, but incredibly functional. The sort of gear that will suit riders who look for quality and function over fashion.
Conclusions
Overall, we were genuinely impressed with NVR Lost — the quality, comfort and thoughtful design details really stood out, and it feels like a brand that understands how gear should perform in real Aussie conditions.
From breathable fabrics to practical cuts, everything felt considered rather than overdone, and the fact they cater for both men and women means no one’s left out. It’s a fresh local label that delivers on style and function without the hype, and one we’d happily wear again.
